I have to say I love the combo of a lunchtime wedding on a Friday! It’s such a great way to end the week and adds the sense of a long weekend. I think it’s that combo that always creates a relaxed and laidback affair, which is exactly what Rowena and John were aiming to achieve and pulled off in spades!

A few dozen family and guests, hanging out in the sunshine on the lawns of Chiswick Restaurant in Woollahra, to watch Rowena and John exchange voes and rings. All of which was followed with an impromptu first dance and bouquet tossing, all accompanied with bubbles on the grass and a string quartet. And all before 1pm!

Speeches followed a constant supply of Chiswick’s finest food and wine before the afternoon culminated with just enough time a for a short dash to Centennial Park to catch the last of the late afternoon light.

A most agreeable way to end the week!
